Cosmetics based on natural active ingredients are those which are increasing their market share at present. evapeos® technology enables you to create natural products of higher quality and with higher bioactivity. Case study: Antioxidants from melon
Many active molecules used in cosmetic products can be extracted from fruit. Melon, for example, contains antioxidants. These thermo-sensitive molecules can be denatured when concentration is performed at high temperature using thermal evaporation. evapeos technology not only allows higher concentration to be achieved, but also preserves antioxidants, since no heat is applied during the process.
evapeos efficiency, compared to thermal evaporation, was evaluated using the established ORAC method (antioxidant power measurement) as shown in the chart on the left. evapeos concentration provides 2.3 times more antioxidants.
New, premium products are within the reach of all users of the technology. A single evapeos system can be used to process a wide variety of active ingredients.
