ederna is a french company specialised in Osmotic Distillation (OD) technology. The company offers a full range of products and services around OD. This innovative technology allows to design high performance tools for R&D laboratories as well as competitive and clean industrial processes in the field of pharma/biopharma, cosmetics, food/beverage, chemicals and energy industries.
ederna, thanks to its position of pioneer in the developement of OD-based processes, is a high potential start-up company that continuously looks for financial and technology alliances.
● History
ederna was founded by Fabrice Gascons Viladomat, a French entrepreneur. Fabrice holds a PhD in process engineering from Paris Institute of Technology.
In 2008, the company was a prize-winner of the highly competitive French entrepreneurial innovation contest.
Since the end of 2009, ederna has established its laboratories and offices in the Center Pierre Potier of the Toulouse Cancer Campus.
In December 2011, ederna raised funds from Pleiade Venture, an investment fund specialized in high-tech companies with high growth potentials.

Industry needs to identify more environmentally friendly technologies that will be used in tomorrow's manufacturing processes. ederna has developped strong know-hows and intellectual property around OD technology. Standard industrial processes would take advantage of this technology regarding their environmental impact, compactness and energy consumption.
