Company

ederna is a pioneer in the manufacturing of separation systems using Hollow Fiber Contactors (HFCs) for the Life Sciences.

The company was created from a simple fact: most of the time, scale-up is very difficult to achieve because the "perfect" conditions obtained in laboratories can not be reproduced at higher scales.

ederna then looked for a technology that could solve this problem. Our investigations shown that HFCs was the ideal candidate because of its modular design.

Because of the use of HFCs, ederna is able to offer to its customers the same process design from lab-scale up to industrial scales, making process scale up no longer a problem!

ederna was founded in September 2007 by Fabrice Gascons Viladomat, a French entrepreneur. Fabrice holds a PhD in process engineering of the Paris Institute of Technology.

In 2008, the company was a prize-winner of the highly competitive French entrepreneurial innovation contest.

Since November 2009, ederna rents laboratories and offices in the Center Pierre Potier of the Toulouse Cancer Campus.

The main objective of the company for 2010 is to build strong partnerships with distributors around the world in order to offer its high quality products and services to the most part of its global market.
